BofA NYC ECM vs DB SF tech coverage which one?

Depends if you want to do ECM or coverage and whether NYC vs SF.
These two offers are completely different
If you want to do IB or exit into buy side roles go banking every time. Roles are VERY different (I’ve worked in both). ECM is very niche skill set and hard truth is you’re not a super valuable candidate for traditional buy side exits. It may seem easy to go for the better brand of BofA but if your goals are to build skills and exit DB tech is much better than BofA ECM.
idk how much you’re considering NY vs SF but think SF is super underrated
I honestly am not too sure if I wanna exit into PE just yet. But if I do want to go to a hedge fund, would bofA ECM be better? I'd appreciate any advice you could offer and thank you so much!
