That sounds suspect...like R. Kelly with a big bag of skittles.
People tend to think life is a race with other people. They don't realize that every moment they spend sprinting towards the finish line is a moment they lose permanently, and a moment closer to their death.
Alt-OHRI believe it. At my MM base is 90 and last year's bonus was 80.
Ummm... ok, so your 170 all-in somehow substantiates a 210 all-in?
I'd probably buy the $210 all-in at a boutique... but doubtful about the $210 all in at a BB, just because its such a formulaic comp structure.
At my MM, comp was significantly outsized for top performers for the sole reason that management is much more empowered to step over comp guidelines. If an MD at GS wanted to pay his analyst 30K more than the top bucket analyst at that level, he'd probably have to give it out of pocket. Im talking banking here, S&T from what I understand is a completely different structure.

That would be $90k base and $120 bonus, right? So the bonus progression over three years is something like $70k -> $90k -> $120k?
I'm trying to understand the compensation for 2nd/3rd years

Tier 1 right, (obviously?)
That sounds suspect...like R. Kelly with a big bag of skittles.
When you say "with a big bad of skittles" do you actually mean "pissing on an underage girl"?
Regards
That sounds very suspect. I have friends at GS at the analyst and associate level 1st bucket that aren't reporting things in line with that.

Drip drip drip...yes I do.
Sounds about right.

That sounds too high...
