Into a watch (lol) and DCA into the market over the next 6 months

Not right now no. I’d like to get into real estate once I have a little more capital. I also think the housing market will correct in the next 12 months.
What watch would you get?
Vanguard total stock market index.

With current prices, where are you expecting to buy RE? Wyoming?
I’m in the market for a new house and I don’t think now is a good time, at least not in the nyc area.
Rates have spiked but I have not seen the corresponding drop in purchase price.
Also, I’m assuming you’re a young kid and there a lot of hidden costs with RE. And it takes time to shop for rates, get your paper work approved and then finding an honest tenant. Passive investing means you have zero homework.

Parking it in a high yield savings for now. Not bullish on the market in the short term, and need to save up for a house/car anyway

Real estate is expensive unless you have the capital to commercialize, and even then it’s a hot market with inflated asset prices right now.
Oh my bonus from MS? Probably gonna spend half for dinner at McD and another half to top-up my subway pass
Half is going to pay off my credit card debt and the other half is going to my checking account. My post-tax bonus was like ~$25k which doesn’t feel like a huge amount.
If I had a $70k bonus I’d spend a bit on a nice watch or taking my friends out, and then put the rest in a SP500 etf.
