Books to read

I'm a sophomore who just finished up IB recruiting. Super happy with my offer and worked super hard for it. But now I have a ton of free time.

Please drop books recs, ideally relevant to finance or investing. Please don't drop a list of 20 books, that will be useless to me. I also don't need your niche  book rec that shows off how underground you are. Assume Im starting from square one, so guaranteed good, enjoyable reads appreciated.

If there is a banger book you love, please share. I'm a big fan of Michael Lewis and his books, as an example.

I appreciate it man. These sound great, heard of most of them. If you had to pick 1 for me to start w and order rn, which would it be?

Red notice, when genius failed, the man who solved the markets, the world for sale.

Other reads not directly business but still interesting:
The new map, our changing world order, chip war, the intelligence paradox, never split the difference, total recall, trust me I’m lying.

If you’re truly a nerd,
Debt: The first 5000 years

Some great ones have already been mentioned (Barb at the gate and the world for sale are 2 of my fav books)

Would also throw in Den of Thieves

The Art of the Deal. Thank me later when you become the 69th president.

The Wager by David Grann… not finance but the best book I read last year and a true story. Think Ernest Shackleton meets Lord of the Flies. Author is the guy who wrote Killers of a Flower moon (book that Scorsese made his movie based on)
