Boston Regional Boutiques Landscape (AGC, Aeris, Covington, Shea, G2, others?)

Anyone have a good sense of how the Boston boutiques stack up against each other? Curious to hear insights on the ones I mentioned or ones I didn’t

Generally just want to know anything about rep/hours/deal flow/ exits.

Would appreciate any color

also heard agc was a sweatshop. unsure about shea but aeries is like 70 hrs a week

I’d just reach out to alumni. Or fellow conference mates- ivy to ivy or jescac to nescac

Also look at HL, gugg, BofA, JPM, PJT, Jeff, HW. All have Boston teams. Primarily software

I’d say Shea is the best in terms of deal flow and comp from the firms you’ve mentioned, with Aeris and AGC sitting below. AGC hours are terrible for the comp though. All good software shops - with Shea paying close to 230k for first year analysts
