Boutique IB Analyst Comp (preferably for Toronto)

Hey all,

I know BBs tend to be a more significant topic in WSO, but my question is geared towards boutique IBs. What seems to be the average comp or range that you’ve seen for boutique IB Analysts?

I’m mostly interested in Toronto specifically but any insight (regardless of region) would be helpful given that I don’t have much to go off of rn lol.

Thanks guys

Spent time at a ~10 man boutique in TO and have a good grasp of general comp across the street. Similar to any other city, pay at boutiques vary quite significantly based on the headcount, size of transactions, sector covered and revenue streams (i.e. pure M&A vs. M&A + capital markets).

Feel free to PM me the specific firm you're looking for insight on and happy to share any intel if I have.
