Thoughts? Ranking is probably a lot different in the US

The thing is that you are mixing EBs with some MMs or banks (Macquarie removed from there as irrelevant, they try to compete in only few things where they are usually good ie Infra).

This would be my ranking :

Exits are all similar and deal experience will be good - all exits are achievable with variable strengths ie Mo&Co in distressed
Tier 1 The top Elite boutiques: Lazard, Rothschild, PJT Tier 1.5 Other EBs : Evercore, Perella Weinberg, Moelis, Centerview, Houlihan Lokey (Rx only)

Solid boutiques chasing usually smaller deals (1Bn-500mm) - some good exits. Tier 2 Top MMs and MM boutiques: Arma Partners, Jefferies, Greenhill, LionTree, Gleacher Shacklock (Solid in Rx - exits to King street, GS and more).

Core MMs, few exits to MM funds, usually LMM and compete with people at the Big4 for exits. Tier 3: William Blair, Stifel, Robert Baird tier 3.5: Piper Jeffrey, Lincoln International, Harris Williams, Messier Maris, Alantra, DC Advisory, Houlihan Lokey (non Rx)

I think it depends on the countries. Messier Maaris is pretty strong in France (probably Tier 1.5). Alantra and DC have a strong presence in middle market there...
