Yo man, I looked through some of your post history. And, you obviously don't know what's up. Search some of your questions before posting. The thread below should answer your first questions. For the other question, just search non-target recruitment and you'll get all the answers you need.
Just a comment, only positions at very small firms could still open for the summer and most likely there aren't many of them.
Keep poking around

Google investment banks near your area. Submit resumes - many boutiques will have an email address listed on their website. If not, call them and ask where to submit an application.
BTW - start using the search function. These are commonly answered questions.

bro i dont think any of us have been in the industry for 30+ years

IB is the place for you... because you can't back away from a good fight? What does that even mean lmao
Anyway thanks for all the advice guys I am a noob and thanks for the advice on searching in forums. I am new to this community and didn't know about all that, so if there are any hard feelings I apologize.

Nice name Gutfreund did you resign from Salomon Brothers for keeping Mozer's screwing the Treasury department over under the covers?
Something like that.....
There is a great post that answers your question: https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/blog/david-and-goliath-the-boutique-and…
Hope you're not a troll wasting people's time.
Why would I be a troll? I genuinely want to learn more about finance because I love ibanking. I just do not appreciate all these bitches making fun of me for asking a question because I do not know as much as they do.
You love ibanking? If anyone were to see these threads with your name attached to them and came across your resume, they will throw it out by you saying that alone, especially if you've never worked in investment banking. Everyone I know in investment banking, barring a single person, unequivocally do not love ibanking.
And if you "just do not appreciate all these bitches making fun of you," then ibanking is not the place for you. I got shit on all the time during my internships - though it was typically in good fun and they weren't serious, you have to be able to take shit at the intern/analyst level.
I think people may be getting a little upset with you because of the types of questions you are asking. With a little bit of research on google and through this website, you could answer them yourself. I would also be cautious with your real username and profile picture. Just like popular social media(facebook, twitter, etc..) your name could pop up on this forum through a google search. It would probably not benefit you if an employer were to see some of the stuff that has been/will be posted on this thread. Just looking out for you..
you love ib? you wont feel that way for long **
.
I'd delete that and change your username. You're making a negative history for yourself on the internet with your name attached.
Holy shit - delete this dude. For your own good.
bro delete this post please its not a good idea to put your linkedin up here. also whats good wood gundy havent heard that name in years
Thanks for that resource. It is greatly appreciated.
This guy must be a freshman in college with serious attitude issues, please direct yourself to the nearest cliff
He said he was a sophomore, and that was probably the most immature comment aside form his that I have ever read on here.

Dude, you realize people can see that you changed your name, right? Just nuke your account and make a new one.
On the same note, you just insulted yourself. You're like WSO's KD, but dumber.
Kevin Durant is that you????
I know guys. I felt badly for saying what I and that's why I did that. My New Year's resolution is take take everything said to me and about with a grain of salt. And yes that was a typo. I think i would be better off if i really just did kill myself.
