Breaking into IB after graduation

I recently graduated (may ‘19) and a couple weeks later started a position in research/operations of a start up. It’s only been 7 weeks but I am starting to look at other opportunities because of the current state of the company. I want to break into investment banking, but im not sure how my position links up with the recruiting of banks. Could I apply for the recent graduate programs for the classes of 2020? Or do i need to apply for experience professionals? Or is there a better way to do this? Any help would be appreciated!
