breaking into ibanking from Georgia tech

Hey I was just wondering how hard it would be to break into ibanking from gt. I know georgia tech isnt a target school for bb but would it be viewed well by employers at mid-market or boutique banks? I'm currently an industrial engineering major going into my 2nd year and I plan on taking a lot of finance courses throughout my time at tech.(would being an IE hurt my chances?) Also I haven't started yet but I plan on networking heavily with all different levels of banks(particularly in atlanta and boston) I currently have around a 3.3 gpa but i plan on getting that up to around a 3.5 by the end of next year. Any advice would be welcome.
