Bringing your Notebook/Notes to an Internship
Can I actually bring my notebook to an internship or access my cloud storage from my desk? Or would that be weird? Whilst preparing I have made so many notes that could be very helpful when I get stuck (rather than researching it again). This could be something like the information provided in the "Anatomy of a 10-k" thread on this forum or just the notes that I took on certain valuation steps.
don't just bring it in with you, bring it everywhere you go during your internship - where applicable - particularly when following seniors around or when they're teaching you something.
accessing cloud storage is another thing, most banks have strict compliance/IT guidelines, so accessing that will likely not be allowed/blocked even. For notes/forum posts like those, it shouldn't be a problem for you to access if you need on your computer. If the worst comes to worst just print it out and bring it in - I think your team would rather see someone being well prepared than otherwise

you won't need to bring in a laptop cuz you'll have a desktop - if you need a laptop they'll issue you one. of course you can bring your phone haha unless you're on a trading floor then you can't use it
Always bring your notebook to things
I would not bring class notes / study materials etc to meetings. It will just make you look weird. Keep it at your desk and flip through it as needed

Email it to your work email at day 2 unless it contains weird shit. Probably you’re not going to use it anyways. Just make good notes when getting a new assignment, much more useful
