I think Wall Street is definitely racist towards Brits. On a scale of 1 to 10 (Canadian to American being the highest correlation 10 and American to Iran being 1) I'd say the American to British social scale is a 5 out of 10.
American to Arab 2
Lol the British are not a 'race'.

We'd get on better if you yanks weren't a bunch of bloody wankers.
It is probably due mostly to cultural differences. I think often times you find yourselves frustrated that most places only have coffee readily available for the tired and overworked analysts and associates. Us Americans have a bad time remembering to bring the tea, we left most of it in the harbor.
tehehehehe
The Americans often miss the subtle sense of humour that the British have, this being as the Brits have grown up with more intelligent comedy like Benny Hill, Some Mothers Do Have 'Em and the carry On series.

On the flip side do you guys know any really Southern people on WallStreet? Like thick Southern accent.. how do they fare?
What you should be doing is taking your British accent and speak with so much pride and eloquence that everyone will just assume you are their boss and you carry far more intelligence than everyone in the room combined. Let me know how it goes!
