Bro Creates 'Art' Using Microsoft Excel

In a stinging slap to the face of the realm of high finance, 73 year-old Tatsuo Horiuchi has begun promulgating works of what he calls "art," but are, in actuality, just traditional Japanese pictures of stunning beauty and accuracy using Microsoft Excel. Here, have a look for yourself:

Horiuchi claims he uses Excel because other graphic designing programs are "too expensive." First, this bro has the nerve to call himself an artist. I bet he's never run a macro in his life! Let alone seen a work of true art, like a perfectly engineered reverse DCF or multivariate lbo model... I guarantee you his perfectly colored portrait of a hovering hummingbird doesn't even lift. Further, he claims that he uses Excel for his works because other platforms are simply too expensive. Basically, what this 73 year old man is trying to say is that Excel is for poors.

Have I been wrong in not including "artist" on my business card? This is a slippery slope, guys--I personally have done a few things on Excel that I feel are absolutely worthy of display in the Louvre. But what next? Do I include my weekly purchase of Chik Fil A on my "closed deals" resume section? I just don't know.

Either way, I don't know this Tatsuo Horiuchi guy, but I'm offended.

The subtle color coding, underlined line items..Oh my god...it even has a circuit breaker
