Brown >>>>>> Johns Hopkins?

What do you guys think of transferring from Brown to Johns Hopkins for Ibanking? Also, in your opinion which has more street prestige? I know this does not mean much but JHU is ranked 13th by U.S News whereas Brown is 16th.

I said it before, and I'll say it again; there is a lot more you should be thinking and worrying and preparing for then perceived "prestige". These rankings are nonsense and you need to get your head out of the garbage bin. Both schools are great schools. Do you think anyone really cares between what U.S News ranks x and x+1? Come on, its actually getting annoying on these forums and its making me close to deleting my account and not help people with legit questions.

The only way x >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>^2!!!x+1 is if the person who is interviewing you went to x and has an affinity for it. You want to get into Investment banking? Take this for advice, go read books concerning the subject that your school isn't providing you. Make contacts and talk to them. Start a PA so you can follow the markets, it will keep you informed.

This mentality of "oh should I switch to columbia from Penn so I can get into CS over JPM" is absurd..

JHU is really out of the way of everything, except for shooting episodes of The Wire.;which hurts recruiting JHU. If your a lacrosse player, JHU is better at lacrosse at least.
