They are an ECM focused shop, not a lot of M&A but they do good work. Have hired a lot of MM M&A folks the last few years and have had very few layoffs last 2 years (less than 5%). Their tech (software, application, media, HCIT) team is very good and you could learn a lot but exit opps are what you make of it. You aren’t getting a lot of recruiters calling to offer your roles at Goldman, but middle market lateral would be easy.

 

Moving from one MM firm to another? What's the benefit in that? I'd steer clear if there's no M&A deal activity, and BTIG lacks brand recognition.
