Not a BB lol but RBC is the same. I'm guessing to prevent people from leaving the city thurs-sun or fri-mon and creating long weekends… some micromanagey bs

Depends on office and your personal preference. I know some of the regionals are 4 days a week but it is pretty lenient.
3 days in the office here at RBC (yes we are a Bulge Bracket check the league tables)

Most groups in 4 days officially. Anecdotally most juniors only come in 2-3 days and seniors look the other way
5x a week. But that is mostly only my group…bank policy is 3x I think. It’s still pretty flexible for one-offs but the vibe is that WFH is the exception rather than the rule.
Personally, I’d probably go in almost every day even if it weren’t de facto required, so I don’t mind. I live a 10 minute walk from work and enjoy having the separation of spaces anyway…though it would be nice to be able to do it maybe once a week to catch up on household chores/errands when I have some downtime.
