if this isn't sarcastic, i don't know what to tell you. you don't know if they use that and if they do, they already have their own. it's a nice thought in practice, but it's just weird in reality. imo anyway

 

Honestly I’d appreciate something small and probably remember you for it. I’ve always given some small gifts to people ive worked with or helped me along, especially as a junior to them and they seem to always appreciate it. For a coffee chat it might be abit much but for professors and those who gave me job references it seems to me they all appreciate the thought and tend you remember you abit more.

It's a nice idea in principal, but would prob come across as weird. Just be polite and smile, think of good questions to ask, and send thoughtful thank you emails. It's always good to steer the conversation in a casual way in the beginning and/or end so you'll have something not too generic to include in your thank you note. Best of luck!
