Buyside High Yield Research --> RX Banking?

I summered at a BB in DCM and ended up signing FT at a well-known long only AM in their leveraged credit / HY group. How feasible is it to lateral after a few years into RX banking? I understand the opposite route is more common but I truly enjoy deal work and have no life outside finance so do not mind long hours.
