Buyside Recruiting From Centerview

Latest thread on this was from a while back. I know recruiting your first year at CVP is not cool, so how about if an analyst does on-cycle PE their second year?

How strong is placement and would it be on the same level as GS/MS/EVR for MF PE?

Would they have an advantage over A1s as they had a full year experience as an analyst, or would they have a higher bar to clear in interviews? How do HHs look at A2s at CVP?

Thanks!

Don’t they make you repay your bonus (the pre-tax amount) if you leave before your analyst contract is done?

yes, but if you do on cycle your second year you can leave to the buyside after the three year analyst program. Would be good if anyone could tell more about the on cycle placements as an A2
