Can a master in management help me to get into the investment banking in the U.S.?
I am a senior who majors in East Asian Studies at a liberal arts college now. I got offers from mim at LBS, mim at Imperial College, management at Duke, and some others. I did not have any banking-related internship at the States. Many people told me that only a master in finance can help me to get into investment banking instead of management. I want to ask if it is true or no? Also, all of the programs are around one year program so they end before December 2024, is this length of the program bad for me to get an internship in 2024? In all, I want to ask if there is a chance for me to the work in investment banking in New York? and Which program is better for me?
