Can I still trade?
New An1 and this may be a stupid question but I hear other analysts trading all the time even though “you aren’t supposed to”. Can I still trade/ do options trading without going through compliance or will that get flagged?

Don't. Not worth it.
...absolutely not. This is a really great way to get fired, have to return all of your profits, and potentially be fined/banned from FINRA.
Please don’t do this. Why would u trade anyways ? Just buy SPY and QQQ
You can trade SPY or QQQ options without any compliance approval
Not sure what these comments are talking about. You can trade all you want BUT it has to be the main large indexes (S&P 500, Nasdaq, VTI).
It really depends on the bank. Some require compliance approval (quick form) for ANY trades including those big indicies. Some you can buy broad ETFs only. Some don't allow any options at all even on SP500. So OP yes you can trade but you really need to check the compliance rules as they take it all quite seriously
100% should not trade. Go ask compliance the policy not WSO
Snitch on the people trading to compliance so they get fired and then you're less likely to be let go in layoffs
