Can I Trade/Hold OTC Pink Securities as a FT Analyst? Same restriction as NYSE/NASDAQ listed securities?

Long story short, I'm an incoming FT analyst at a BB. I understand there are very strict restrictions regarding buying/selling public securities.

Does this same scrutiny apply to OTC Pink sheet securities given that they are not listed on major exchanges and very unlikely to be connected to any advisory from investment banks that would cause insider trading issues?

My hunch is that all public stocks are treated the same. Don't really think it'd be a good idea to ask this directly to anyone at my bank (bad image).

I understand most people will say there won't be anytime regardless to be trading securities as a FT analyst, but I'd at least be able to want to hold those stocks. Before someone gives me crap for trading these garbage stocks, it's been a hot market (I know it won't last forever) but I've made a lot in the last few months and I'd like to really keep it up.
