Honestly, the firm is back on a tear. Most groups have hit their fee budget for the year or are close. Morale is high across the firm with everyone busy closing live sell-sides...very little pitch work or bus dev stuff, given the busy-ness with real projects. For HCIT & Tech in particular, win rates are fantastic and the firm is being handed a lot of mandates in no-pitch situations.

Counterpoint—not at all my experience.

Morale complete shit. Many feel completely bamboozled by the way the firm has behaved in the last 2+ years and no amount of uptick in activity is going to paper over the cracks it exposed.

You simply cannot torch your reputation to that extent and expect your talent to just blindly accept it.

My most generous read is that your comment is extremely group specific because overall that’s just a deviation from the reality for many.

How are the offices across Blair handling things? Seems like most the people I know at Blair are still doing fine
