Can you keep your Stash account?

When you start working as an analyst in an investment bank, are you allowed to keep your Stash account? My firm has a list of approved firms, but since Stash lets you hold fractions of ETFs and such I do not know how I can even liquidate and transfer what I hold. I do not use it actively, but I have put a decent amount of money in there and would hate to lose any of it. Do I just take the L, or has any one managed to keep their account while working?

I would reach out to compliance and ask about it, given that Stash isn't a usual broker. You may have to transfer full shares into an approved broker and liquidate the rest. I doubt they will give you a 407 Letter for it either. Just take the loss and save the headache.
