Canaccord Genuity IBD - London

Hey guys,

I don't know much about this firm but would like some information, specifically regarding their london offices.

What kind of boutique is this? culture, dealflow, analyst/intern experience, prestige,...?

thanks a lot

Canaccord is a MM market player, although they are very solid in Canada, I'm not sure if I can say the same in the USA, or even in London for that matter. In North America, they try to specialize in Tech and a couple of other sectors. The London office from my knowledge is relatively new.

Canaccord I'd say is known for very very long hours, and a white boys club.

At the end of the day, it's a decent MM bank, and an investment banking offer is at the end of the day a solid prospect to have.

Best of luck.

acquired Results International last Aug which has expanded UK presence. seems to primarily focus on healthcare and tech M&A. good culture and team in the US/Canada with solid deal flow, but not sure about UK. also heard they might be starting an exchange program for employees where you can go spend a few months working in a different office (for ex, if you're based in London you could go spend 6 months working in the NYC office)
