Career Advice

Someone came and asked me what career he should pursue.

Route 1: Go into investment banking and then work his way into PE, etc.

Route 2: Get a PhD and then attempt to go into biotech VC/PE right away.

I told him to pursue what he loved the most. PhD is easily 3-5 years of school and is a commitment. IB can be equally draining but can be worth it in the end game.

At the end of the day. Do what you love more, you can essentially make money in any job it just depends if you can build a system or not.

Anyone agree? Disagree?
