Career in Equity Syndicate

What is your impression of a career in Equity Syndicate (within Capital Markets) at a top US investment bank. How good are the exit options and what kind of job can this position lead too both within this industry and else where.

Its not real i-banking, but any syndicate job is infinately more exciting and intense...not too sure about exit options to be honest...

 

A career in equity syndicate is just that: a career. You don't get a career in IB, you get 2 years. If you're going into syndicate, you should treat it as a long-term career decision.
