JPM have a private equity group based in NY. How active or big they are I do not know. But they exist.
I interned at JPMP - PE arm of JPM except they carved out with CCMP Capital.
Just work your ass of and be one of the top analysts and your exit opps will be as good as any others...there are JPMorgan people in almost every large or medium size pe or hedge funds...
