CB at a BB to Corp Strategy at F100 Company
Associate at a BB doing CB. I got a good offer to join a corporate strategy role at a large F100 company, but wondering if I should take it. Comp is the surprisingly the same at least for this year since I negotiated, but I assume will be discounted in my career progression. Hours likely will be better, hearing it will be a 45-60 hour workload. Would you take this offer? Getting tired of my current role.
Is the F100 company a reputable tech company? If so, would prob take that over CB. If it’s a company in some dull sector (e.g., energy, industrials, etc), it may be less fulfilling
Very reputable tech company, FAANG level.
In my view, it’s worth it as I really like the tech sector and hope to potentially exit into it after banking but to each their own. If you don’t mind me asking, why are you looking to leave ur CB role? Was also thinking of CB as a long term potential career path as I like the WLB and sustainability of it vs my current role in IB
