Centerview MBA recruiting

Centerview is well-known for historically not recruiting post-MBA associates. It seems like they might have recently loosened this policy and begun recruiting at a few programs. Is there more detail anyone knows on this, whether from firsthand knowledge being at Centerview/one of the schools they recruit from or other means?

They really only recruit from M7 programs. They took one Wharton summer associate last year. This cycle they were in the process with Wharton, Booth, and CBS. The process is very informal and mostly is them reaching out to candidates they find interesting after resume drops.

I heard at analyst level, they are really looking for candidates who want to be career bankers. To what extent is that true?
