CFA - Credit derivatives analyst
Hey to all,
I just started as a credit derivatives analyst and was thinking about going ahead and planning for CFA level I in June, 2007. Only a few months out of college so a lot of the stuff is still fresh. Was hoping to gather some thoughts on getting it early as apposed to later (i.e. after more experience). Thanks to all who respond.

it should be fairly easy for you since you are a credit derivatives analyst. the hardest part for me was option FRA calculations and covariance matrix.
Go for it right now. It can't possibly hurt. Who knows if your work responsibilities increase in future and thus you are not really able to write it...
go for it now. It's a 3 year program, you might as well get started.
