MONEY. Also, the satisfaction of knowing you'll be able to say "I have a CFA" in front of PM's/sales people who tack on a simple "CIMA" or "CFP" because it was easy/just a 1-shot deal. (The Ego reason)

I passed the Level 1 and have met MD's who attempted it once & gave up, give me the 'old 0.o. Shit makes you look good bro. Lift those books hard and hit that personal record brah. (The Ego reason, again)

Also, money.

No problem dude, leave 'em 'mirin.

Yeah it's brutal and boring. This will easily go down as the worst 18 months of my life. No way would I have started this if I knew how terrible it was going to be. Easy material, but so much of it and it's so dry. Already pot committed at this point though so I'm going to try to finish strong.

Are you on the Dec lv 1, June lv 2, June lv3 route too? This has been the longest 18 months of my life. My girlfriend is not a happy bunny!

Yep! Was excited about studying for I, had momentum but annoyance for II and now I've hit a brick wall with III. I wish they would have spread the PM stuff over all three instead of just leaving it for the last, but oh well. I'm impressed you've managed to keep a girlfriend throughout it! All I've had a bunch of lousy dates....... probably because all I can think about while she is talking is discounted cash flows!!! Should have had my mind on DTF instead of DCF lol!
