You should have went to NYU or Columbia MBA for the best chances. You'll need to be sponsered if you're not American. Good luck at any positions below Associate level. Better off in London.
Thank you for your comments. I just wanna point out that I started the masters right after graduating from my UG, therefore MBA was not an option (no FT experience). Also, I do not need to be sponsored as I am a permanent resident. I am really just looking for an IB analyst role in NYC with no expectation for salary and firm as I value the experience more than prestige/money. Now what are my chances?
Then your chances are good. If you are a permanent resident. Cold-call networking and just DO NOT be that FOB Asian kid who doesn't fit in with the rest of the group. People need to like you and you need to be someone they can relate to and hang out with. I think a ton of these immigrant FOB kids come in with their quant skills thinking that is all that matters you need to be solid to be sure but FOB foreign kids are never the fast social climbers in society.
