Changing sector / moving team

Currently at an EB which is sector aligned - I lateraled in about 18 months ago and its gone well, good bonus, ratings etc.

However I would like to move to a different sector that interests me more e.g. from Industrials to Healthcare. Has anyone done this / knows of anyone that has done so? Any advice would be great.

I don’t know if it would be better to approach the team I like or ask my team about it first. I am leaning towards the former as if there is no role there then I guess there is no point souring relations with my current team. However I am quite well liked / rated, so it might be helpful to get a good referral in rather than going cold.

Any thoughts? Thanks.
