Charlotte vs NYC

I’m a guy who enjoys the outdoors and being in nature as a way to calm down from the chaos of life.

I’m in my sophomore year of college and it seems like Charlotte would be a much better option for IBD than NYC due to around the same comp paired with lower taxes. I understand that the exit opportunities wouldn’t be the same but I’m not 100% sure what I want anyway.

On top of the money aspect, the area itself isn’t suicide inducing either.
