Cheating to gain FT Offer
Has anyone else heard of interns cheating/collaborating at graded assignments? Kind of surprised this hasn't gotten more attention because it completely nullifies a data point meant for 'ranking' interns.

Interns also get help from their buddies and from people of the team...
my first line to my interns is always "dont tell them i told you but you should look into/do xyz" lol
I directly share some previous works and explain them things I liked and things that can be improved whenever they are proactive enough
If I want to in my team I will make an effort to secure you. But first you must show good work ethics, communication... Its not easy to get to this point

most of the time banks will give all interns the same summer project. Everyone works together
Think OP is referring to virtual internships where there was some form of instruction with interns expected to complete work on their own
I see it two ways: either the bank wants interns to work together and just doesn’t say it or there really was an unfair advantage given to those who worked on individual assignments together
