Casting a wider net. I'm still thinking about recruiting for Chicago, maybe the generalist banks. So far, NY and SF/Bay.
Blair Baird and Lincoln are generalist roles. Theyre headquartered in Chicago and have all vertical groups. I believe Laz has a generalist group in Chicago too, and part of JPM’s M&A group sits our of Chicago. The other banks are industrial focused other than a few that have niches.
