Choosing Superday location
I'm having a superday for an IBD SA HK position in early Jan. However, I'm also going on exchange in Europe in early Jan. Just got informed today that the date will be 1 day after my flight gets into my exchange venue. So basically I have 2 choices: 1. Tell them I'm in my current location in Asia, probably will get flown to HK, miss orientation and postpone my flight for my exchange (have to pay for this) or 2. Tell them I'm in the exchange country, get flown to London, probably videoconference. The main issue with 2 is that I will likely be tired from all the flights and I really need to be at optimal condition.
What should I do?
If I were you, I would take option 1. Taking the hit on postponing your exchange by a few days seems to be a minute setback compared to the future benefits which you can get by nailing the interview and getting a sweet SA gig. I wouldn't risk tripping up due to jet lag. Just my two cents though, best of luck!
