Hey all, currently a CIB analyst at a SMBC/Truist/WF type bank (CIB focusing on RCF/Term Loans/PM activities). I see a lot of people lateraling internally to Corporate Banking, but not very interested in that. What are the main exit opps or lateral opps outside of going CB? I’ve seen a few go DCM/LevFin, go to other banks in similar roles, or some PC, and just want to hear what other people have seen.

Most groups have them split, my bank CB does all the screening, CIB group does the modeling/packaging/credit memo/PM activities and everything else to underwrite and execute
