Does anyone have any info on the investment banking team that sits in Calgary? Interested in dealflow and culture. Seems like a relatively small office.

2 seniors but no MD. All juniors are CB focused. Barely do anything on the IB side.
Is Kasey Fukada not the MD?
Yeah not sure what that guy is saying - Kasey is the MD on the ground; had a few coffee chats with him and he was a really nice guy.
He connected me with a bunch of folks at Citi Toronto which is where I ended up - From what I saw the office was relatively small indeed (about two dozen people)...although deal flow has been picking up with the recent M&A activity in energy.

There is still an IB team, above people saying Kasey is MD are wrong - he left in 2019. Team is mostly ex-GS Calgary. Used to be led by Ken Davis who now runs Barclays, not sure who runs it now. Rest of the office is commercial and corporate bankers.
