Citi CEEMEA coverage or Wells Fargo International M&A, both London

Guys, I got offers from both and I have to choose in the next one wee. As a back ground, I am currently a second year in a BB Industrials group in London. I am attracted to the CEEMEA team since I am from that region and I met most of the team who seem great. I am attracted to the Wells Fargo M&A team since I love M&A and they seem to be "up and coming" which gives you a chance to be part of the people building the team up. Genuine insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Depends where in CEEMEA, as Citi’s focus there is not evenly distributed. Can’t speak to WF, but it’s definitely a tier and a half below Citi, and while historically not so good in London, Citi has recently done quite well there.

The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be the shepherd.

Focus will be on Middle East and African part of CEEMEA. Agree that WF is a tier and a half below Citi but I was hoping from a team specific point of view, M&A at WF might be slightly better than CEEMEA coverage at citi
