Citi Freshman Diversity Discovery Program

Recently got into the Citi FDD program - can anyone who did it before give some insight on it? Or does anyone know how valuable this is for the Citi Sophomore Leadership Program (SLP)? Is it a legit pipeline/guaranteed superday for SLP type thing or just an exploratory program?

Not tryna personally attack you, but do they rlly just be throwing these discovery days at ANYONE who classifies as non-white/Asian male? I’m in no way diminishing your potential and drive and the exogenous circumstances that led to the GPA, but the cold hard facts are you had a 2.0 GPA, which is like literally the only thing (aside from extracurricular) a bank can/should care about for any freshman internship/program.

Lol yea honestly you're right, I was really surprised when I got in. Obviously I don't know exactly how they break down each part of your resume and cover letter, but I mean many don't get in so I guess there are other metrics they use. I did briefly explain my situation in my cover letter, so maybe that helped. Who knows.
