Citi Group Placement 2026 Intern

My roommate interned at Citi in GAM. He got killed with late nights on bs. The modeling experience is lackluster versus what they tell you

What I've gathered about other groups:

• Comms: sweaty culture and competitive analyst class. good deal experience though, but not friendly to recruiting
• Consumer: big deals recently, but modeling done by M&A
• RE: unique modeling, best junior culture, MF exits in recent years, niche sector though
• Power: absolutely sweatshop & lost all seniors recently
• M&A: limited seats, but probably the best experience. if you don't have a seat by april probs too late
