Citi - WTF???

Even though I never wanted to make such a post, I have to say that I find the conditions at Citi simply unacceptable and therefore would like to report to those who have not been aware of this so that they can make their decisions for FT or internship on a more informed basis.

Since I, unfortunately, don't have much time at the moment, here are the points that make Citi one of the worst BBs to work for.
1. Citi doesn't provide a laptop for FT or internship
2. Citi doesn't provide a phone for interns
3. FT employees can get a work phone which is a shitty Samsung
4. The meal stipend is only 22.5 and the new delivery system that was implemented has literally zero options and costs more than Deliveroo which we had before
5. Interns don't get a corporate card (they were supposed to be reimbursed 6 weeks after the internship) - I was told that some still haven't received the money for the expenses from summer 22
6. Citi stopped giving out duffle bags like 2 years ago for interns and analysts...
7. More to come

I look forward to hearing about your experiences with Citi!

Controversial

Reeks of entitlement. People are being killed by earthquakes, missiles, and starvation - and you're pissed that you aren't getting a corporate duffle bag, are only being compensated 22.50 for your free meal, and have to get by with a Samsung instead of an iPhone? Newsflash bud - you won't be a net value add for another few years. This is a learning experience.

Ridiculous post. Here's why:

1. You get a computer to work from at your desk in the office. Why do you need a laptop? If you need to work from home, you log into the virtual desktop.

2. You don't need a phone either. You use the Blackberry apps. There you go, now your phone has everything on it and you don't need to be cumbersome and carry around two. Want to switch off? Okay, log out of those apps then.

3. As above, you do not need a work phone. You can choose to get one.

4. I don't care.

5. Why would you get a corporate card as an intern!? Reimbursements have been made btw for all interns, just took a while.

6. Complete non-issue.

7. Looking forward to debunking more of your shitty takes.
