Cold Calling Buyer Prospects
I'm currently an analyst at a "no-name" regional boutique and am being forced to cold call buyer prospects on a pretty regular basis for sell-side engagements. I understand it helps me grow and learn, but I expected this to be more a responsibility of associate level and up.
I'm looking to lateral to a bigger firm and was wondering if analysts at more reputable firms have to do this as well? If other analysts are doing this though, do you have any tips on how to become better at this?
