Cold Mailing - Quantity over Quality?

I started my reach out recently and was wondering if quality really matters. I am pointing on personalization going beyond the same school, clubs, or naming firms a connection worked at.

Moreover:

  1. Mails are getting lengthy, who does want to read them?
  2. Access to insights is limited - no information about e.g. deal a person worked on etc. 

What is your take on that? Should I put more effort to personalize more?

I like to have a base template and then just edit things slightly per person to make it slightly personalized ( mention they were non targ ,ask how lateraling was , etc ) over 100 emails one being complete copy paste and the other using the strategy above strike rate went up from 5% to 10.7% so do with that what you will
