College Freshman Summer Help

I am currently a freshman from a target and trying to find a summer internship. I don't really have much experience regarding finance and business (I slacked off due to zoom university which i am now regretting and my resume hasn't been updated since highschool) but I will try my best in the spring semester. I have some decent experience in programming because I wanted to pursue financial engineering.

Can someone give me some advice about summer interns and anything in general? I just want to get started on something. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!
