Columbia GS for IB?
I’d be entering as a transfer from community college in a major such as Financial Economics or Economics+PoliSci. I was wondering if the school really is a cash grab by Columbia or if it holds weight in BB/EB firms in Manhattan. I wouldn’t want to take out absurd loans for the little brother institution of Columbia if it means I won’t get into a good IB firm. I will be applying to Columbia College as well, and of course other target/semi-target schools. Also - I may just be able to transfer into Columbia College from GS once I finish a semester or two.
