Commodore Capital Group - Vnderbilt Offer Revocation

Sharing some insight on the recent posts about the one kid from the "Harvard of the South" emailing firms to revoke others' offers. Currently an AN1 at a BB who went through the typical IB recruiting process and know a bit about what went down from current students. The kid who got an offer from PJT Park Hill '27 was in the top feeder club called Commodore Capital Group, which has placed 15+ to Goldman, 10+ to MS, etc. over the past few years. Despite the school being in the South, Commodore Capital Group "CCG" mainly consists of WASP's and Jewish people from the Northeast with solid presence from Texas/Atlanta. Even when I was in school they were filled with some of the most pretentious people who believed that high finance should be reserved for the top elite. The guy from PJT likely sent those offer revocation emails to retaliate against people with this mindset, not b/c he was unhappy with his offer. Not defending his actions especially as an alum, but the Feeder club he was part of is universally disliked on campus for a reason and it sucks to see my alma mater turn into this.
