My MM’s strategic advisory deal sizes are similar to your range. Stub year associates make around $250k all-in after stub bonus for let’s say about 80 hours a week on average.
Being conservative: at a 25% discount to a stub year associate, you should still be making around 185k at the least. I do think your firm is undervaluing you, but up to you if the tradeoff is worth it.
Can tell you that every associate and analyst on my team is miserable and hates the job, no exceptions. Lots of turnover every year.
What is full year associate comp?
$330k+ first full year.
